Duration: 6 months+ contract Location: Charlotte, NC Client: TIAA-Cref In partnership with other team members and other teams, facilitate the concept phase for all IT-enabled initiatives: - Document current and future state business process and information flow maps - Perform root cause analysis to identify current state process inefficiencies - Develop qualitative and quantitative business cases for process improvements and automation initiatives Develop detailed BRDs and FRDs from discussions with business clients Partner with the development Manager and other Senior BAs to develop solution alternatives for business requirements Develop Quality Assurance Plans to set quality parameters and expectations for deliverables Support User Acceptance Test (UAT) activities to ensure quality of the end user deliverables Gain knowledge, as it relates to client business processes and the current business environment in which they operate in Required education/experience: Strong knowledge/experience in one or more SDLC methodologies BS in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred A minimum of 4 years experience in the areas of business requirements analysis and gathering, and business process engineering in a client facing role Experience with Commercial Real Estate business concepts (Property Management, Accounting, Portfolio Management, etc) Experience with Commercial Mortgage, Private Equities & Alternative Investments businesses will be highly valued Experience with technology tools that support Commercial Real Estate businesses (Yardi, MRI, CTI, Argus, Kardin, etc), and Commercial Mortgage and Private Equity front/middle/back office platforms Ideal candidates should have a mix of IT SDLC experience and Commercial Real Estate business background/experience/skills. Inspiron 2 Position: Business Analyst/Data Analyst Location: JERSEY CITY , NJ Duration: at least 6 months Client: To be released during selection process We are currently looking for a Business Analyst/Data Analyst to be able to function independently throughout the lifecycle of a project. Must be proficient at translating business needs to technical requirements and highly experienced in requirements gathering, system and workflow analysis, functional specifications, use-case writing, process and design diagrams and proficient with MS Project, Visio and Excel. Technical skills and Responsibilities: - Strong communication skills a must - Responsibilities will include developing project schedules, managing team resources, creating work breakdown structures, estimating size and effort for new development projects, as well as develop detailed requirements for these projects - Specify, and conduct, the analysis using appropriate tools/techniques, and deliver high quality analysis work to the business users, along with actionable insights and recommendations - Provide direction to resources, monitor development efforts, assemble key project deliverables, report project status, and raise awareness on issues requiring escalation - Candidate must have strong presentation and leadership skills, follow-through and analytical skills - Must be detail-oriented with abilities to multi-task and to effectively handle changing requirements and priorities - Full life cycle methodology including change management processes and ensuring changes are properly tested and migrated to production - Proficiency in MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, and MS Visio - Liaison between business users and technical staff throughout project lifecycle - Strong analytical and problem solving skills including the ability to use data to solve problems and make recommendations - Ability to recommend actionable points from complex issues and analysis - Ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast paced environment - Experienced in leading assessments of current business processes/requirements - Develop detailed functional requirement and design documents for web based and reporting solutions - Work with project team to document, design and create innovative solutions - Must be familiar with technology concepts and terminology - Support System Testing and User Acceptance Testing - Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to less experienced staff members - Ability to work independently with limited supervision or as part of a team - Have SQL query experience - Professional, energetic and self-motivated with a well defined work ethic - Familiarity with relational databases and software development tools and methodologies - Experience working with a Analytic Tools such as Entity Relationship Diagramming used in Data Modeling a plus (not required) - Working knowledge of life insurance business, terms, and processes a plus - Bachelors degree with a minimum of 6 years progressive experience analyzing and solving business problems (Masters or MBA Degree preferred a plus) - PMP certification a plus -- Many Thanks.
