The solutions are based on products and technologies from Cisco, EMC, and VMware. The successful candidate will be part of a VCE data center solutions team (www.cisco.com/go/vce) and be responsible for the integration of new EMC storage virtualization technologies such as Virtual Provisioning, Vplex, and Virtual LUNs, EMC performance tools and concepts such as FAST (Fully Automated Storage Tiering) and Array federation (hardware), Develop and implement long distance DR solutions like Cascaded SRDF and RecoverPoint. This candidate will also have deep exposure to peripheral storage technologies and concepts, Backup/recovery and De-duplication (Avamar, Data Domain) and File System (Unified storage platforms, Cloud). Skill set: -Advance features like FAST, Navi-Reporter / Analyzer. -Data Duplication (d-dup) -Storage requirements based on specific applications: Oracle, SAP, Exchange, etc. -Recovery Point -Expert with VMAX, Symmetrix, and Cellera Storage Arrays.
