*Hi Partner,* *Please find the below job details and let me know if you have any suitable candidate?* IMMEDIATE START ( August 10th 2010 ) DURATION – 12 - 18months contract ( Extension depending on client ) 4 POSITIONS RATE: $45/hr all incl on CTC * * *We have a position for a Application Packager ( WISE Package Studio / Citrix Xenapp / Alpp ) in La Palma, CA* Hands on experience with HARDWARE & SOFTWARE -- A MUST Description: -- Strong PC and Infrastructure troubleshooting skills including working with clients and vendors to diagnose and resolve problems focused on PC Desktop running Windows 2000 and Windows 7. -- Must have support skills in solving PC desktop issues that may affect the deployment of applications such as configuring middleware(ODBC,ORACLE CLIENT)resolving DLL conflicts, registry settings, recognizing applications that exhibit problems such as—missing components,incorrecrlty configured middleware, differentiate problems that stem from an application and not an install program. -- Provide advanced software packaging services to build MSI installations using Wise Package Studio to address first time installs and upgrade from scratch ,repackaging of commercial and internal software affecting the enterprise. -- Perform rigorous compatibility /certification testing of commercial desktop software and hardware on various platforms across various operating systems. -- Testing will require identifying and resolving conflicts with other SI packages from commercial vendors and internally developed applications. -- Experience with Alppv and Citrix Xenapp packaging/sequencing. Job Requirements: -- Experience with WISE PACKAGE STUDIO providing packaging services including commercial off the shelf and internally built packages. -- Experience with supporting Windows 2000,Windows XP and Windows 7 operating system in an enterprise. -- Trouble shooting experience of PC hardware, applications and operating systems. -- 6yrs overall experience Typical Responsibilities: -- Software packaging and Compatibility testing -- Packaging and re-packaging installations for deployment to Windows 2000,Windows XP,Windows7 devices via SCCM and Tivoli. -- Provide compatibility/certification testing of commercial desktop software and hardware on various platforms across various operating systems.
