· Around 8 years of total IT experience in the Design, Modeling, and
Development with SQL Server 7.0/2000/2005.
· Expertise in Transact-SQL (DDL, DML), views, stored procedures and
also using database triggers
· Extensive knowledge in tuning SQL queries and T-SQL programs with a
goal to improve query performance and user response time.
· Proficient in Microsoft SSIS, Transact-SQL exception handlers, DTS

· Monitored and tuned MS SQL Server databases with tools including Index
Tuning Wizard, SQL Profiler, and Windows Performance Monitor for optimal
performance.
· Involved in optimizing code and improving efficiency in databases
including re-indexing, updating statistics, recompiling stored procedures and
performing other maintenance tasks.
· Experience in .NET/C# application development environment using SQL
Server databases.
· Extensive data integration design and development using BCP, DTS, SSIS
packages and Jobs for MS SQL SERVER.
· Experience with database administration in MS SQL Server 2000/2005,
including tasks such as data loading, batch jobs, data unloading, backup &
recovery, user and application table management, upgrades, creating
databases/File groups/files/Transaction logs.
· Transformed data from various data sources using OLE DB / MS AS
connection by creating various DTS/SSIS packages.
· Migrated SSIS packages in 2005 to SSIS 2008
· Responsible for maintaining built cubes using SSAS and populate the
cubes with the data
· Created Ad -hoc reports for the Business Users in SSRS.
· Created reports using Business Objects using functionalities like
slice and dice, drill down, @functions, cross tab, master detail tables and
formulas, etc.
· Excellent communication skills and experienced in client interaction
while providing technical support and knowledge transfer.
· Excellent writing skills and the ability to conceptualize and
effectively document.
· Excellent in collaborating with others in a team environment.
