Please send resume to: [email protected] * * *Position: PEGA Test/QA Engineer * *Location: Franklin Lake, NJ* *Duration: 5 -6 Months (with High potential of extension)* - Strong knowledge of software Test and QA processes and practices - In-depth knowledge in all aspects of PegaSystems tools, technologies and software development processes - Responsible for System, Regression, Load and Stress Testing - Plan test strategy for one or more areas of a product - Responsible for creating, locating and acquiring data required for testing assignments - Responsible for developing test scripts to software design documentation - Responsible for creating, executing and recording the results of assigned test cases - Identify software problems, determining steps to reproduce then, and enter them into a problem-tracking database - Understand Testing principals and SDLC, i.e. test driven development and SCRUM - Helpful to have at least 3 years of Medco Health systems experience, with extensive familiarity with core systems and applications. - 5 years of formal development documentation, technical writing and project management experience for programs in pharmacy benefits management, managed care, and/or financial service domains. - Strong quantitative and analytical skills using very large transactional databases; strong background in data management. - Familiarity with SCRUM/Agile Application Development. - Good understanding of database systems/language/platforms - Working knowledge of what is possible technically in order to provide direction to staff. - Knowledge of advances in business intelligence and work flow oriented technologies helpful. *Other:* - Able to apply creativity to development of business solutions. - Ability to juggle priorities and adjust to the realities of rapid changes in business requirements. - Motivated by difficult challenges and aggressive timelines. - A proven track record of exceeding goals and a bottom-line mentality; evidence of the ability to consistently make good decisions through a combination of analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment. - Enjoys working hard and looks for challenges.
