Job Title : Oracle EBS
Length : 6+ Months
Location : San Diego , CA
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Financials developer. The candidate
should have 6+ years of experience in working with Oracle EBS specially around
GL, AP, and AR modules. Candidate should also have very good knowledge in
PL/SQL, SQL and Oracle database development including stored procedures,
database triggers and database packages. Strong verbal and written
communication skills are required for this position.
Duties and responsibilities:
* Design, program, develop, analyze and implement Oracle EBS specific
code and objects.
* Write or update code documentation, implementation instructions and
integration tests for applications. Produce technical documentation in
accordance with SDLC guidelines.
* Communicate with both technical and non-technical groups on a
regular basis to pass along important information and to ensure the design and
implements are understood by all parties.
* Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize and improve existing database
applications and database objects
* Develop Interfaces to between Oracle EBS and other systems.
* Develop custom reports in EBS.
* Customize EBS by adding flex fields, new forms etc.
Required skills:
* BS or MS in Computer science or related area
* 6+ years of experience with Oracle EBS
* Experience with EBS upgrade. Experience in upgrade to R12 is highly
desirable.
* Experience in R12 version of Oracle EBS.
* Experience writing AIM specific documents.
* 6+ years of experience with Oracle database, SQL/Pl-SQL
* Knowledge of Informatica or shell scripts will be a big plus
* Familiarity with XML and web services is good to have but not
mandatory
* Financial Services/Brokerage experience is a plus
* Should be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Solid analytical and communicational skills
* Good documentation and writing skills
