Position: HP Unix Admin Location: Winston Salem, NC Duration: Min. 6 Months HPUX Administrator, Exp LeveL: 6 – 8 Years - Hands-on knowledge of various HP 9000 series hardware. - Experience in Production Server Environment. - Experience in Mid range Servers’ Hardware administration - Expert & hands-on knowledge on trouble shooting HP UX 11.x OS - Knowledge on Package install, patch management, server builds, Server upgrades, License management - Exposure LPAR/NPAR - Expert knowledge on Ignite UX for unattended server install - Hands on knowledge on NFS/JFS/JFS2 - Hand-on knowledge on various RAID technologies (RAID 0+1, RAID 1, RAID 5 etc.) - Good exposure to HPUX network administration ( DNS,NIS,LDAP) - Configures complex software implementations for initial functionality with occasionally configuration for advanced features. - Excellent communication skills - Tools knowledge- Ignite UX, OCPA, OCPI, HP Data Protector, - Knowledge of HP Service Manager ticketing tool Certifications: HP certified Sys admin Key skills required: (in the order of priority) *HP Ux 11.x, AIX,*Shell scripting Regards Shiv Javaji System Solutions Inc.
