The consultant must have experience with: train control system operation and testing or train dispatching system specification and test plan development; work analysis and statistical work sampling; knowledge of server, software, database, firewall and network administration; knowledge of passenger rail operations, specifically interactions with supported/supporting business areas outside train control; network security; computer system disaster recovery planning. Must be familiar with construction, modification and management of rail control systems; and have successfully completed similar studies to determine appropriate staffing levels for support of rail command and control systems.
