*Title :Microsrtategy and business objects Architect

*Primary Responsibilities:*
• Administer Microstrategy and Business Objects environments for several
in-house-developed and vendor-supplied applications.
• Define the implementation standards and best practices for the setup of
the infrastructure environment.
• Assist in defining best practices for report and dashboard development.
• Automate the administration of the business intelligence run-time
environments where possible.
• Provide direction and training to application development teams.
• Evaluate software packages, ensuring that they fit within Kohl's
architecture and infrastructure.
• Provide timely and accurate on-call support for production infrastructure
components.
• Provide training or mentoring to large groups on tools or architecture
concepts as needed.
• Perform capacity planning to ensure the organizations business
intelligence infrastructure has adequate capacity to meet the needs of the
company.
*Qualifications*:
• In-depth knowledge of UNIX environment from an architecture perspective.
• In-depth understanding of the UNIX file system
• Experience installing and administering applications hosted upon Linux and
Windows servers.
• Experience setting best practices for reports and dashboards.
• Experience administering the following BI Platforms: Microstrategy
versions 8 and 9, Microstrategy Health Service, Microstrategy Integrity
Manager, Microstrategy Enterprise Manager, Command Manager, Object Manager,
Business Objects version XI R2, Xcelsius, QAAWS, InfoBurst, APOS,
• Desired database platform experience: Teradata versions 12 and 13, IBM DB2
Version 9, Oracle version 10 and MySQL**
