About Servicer and Investor Reporting (SIR):
Servicer and Investor Reporting Phase 1 is a large-scale, high-performance
transaction mortgage and loan processing system and will be used to support
several Trillion Dollars in volume. The application is being developed using
proven technologies, including PL/SQL, ORACLE, Ab-Initio and Java in complex
combinations following established and proven methodologies and practices
for the development of large scale technology systems. The purpose is to
replace the legacy platform for processing mortgages in Fannie Mae’s cash
business line. The project team will deliver this work in a manner that is
transparent to Fannie Mae’s customers, while adhering to aggressive
timelines and goals to assure a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
About the Team:
The SIR Tech Ops Teams has following broad function:
1. System Execution: Responsible for understanding the execution processes
of Tech Ops team and be part of Production Support group that will provide
production support to SIR system.
3. Work in 24/7 environment as a part of team that works in shifts.
4. Responsible for understanding the system responding to failures and
engaging appropriate stake holders.
About the Position:
A System Test Engineer with UNIX, AutoSys, PL/SQL experience will contribute
in Production Support tasks for SIR System.
Responsibilities:
o Work with development, Business, QA, and Automation engineers to determine
root cause of batch job execution problems.
o Must have excellent problem solving skills and be capable of breaking down
complex situations to discover and resolve root causes, this applies to both
technical issues and process issues.
o Provide metrics and project planning updates for the testing effort.
Qualifications:
o 5 years of UNIX , PL/SQL and Oracle experience
with mortgage§o Familiarity business
o Familiarity with Autosys, PL/SQL batch processing and Oracle Collections
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills
o Excellent teaming skills*
