*This **Oracle Database Administrator position** is hands-on. The successful
candidate will have a proven **track record** in a similar environment. One
would be expected to have experience in, and be able to perform tasks:
**Bachelor's degree** in **Computer Science** or other related specialty
with equivalent experience
- Experience with Oracle 10g/11g on Solaris/Linux servers
- Knowledge with Sybase 12.5 and 15.0
- 3+ years experience as Database Design/Physical & Logical Modeling.
- 5+ years experience as an Oracle production and development DBA skills on
UNIX in 24X7 environments.
- 5+ years in SQL tuning and PL/SQL scripting .
- 5+ years in UNIX shell/Perl scripting.
- 3+ years experience with various partitioning of tables.
- 3+ years experience with OEM.
- Experience in **performance tuning** and troubleshooting - drill down
approach with O/S, database and application.
- Experience in designing solutions and performing global enterprise
database backup and recovery.
- Well developed written and **verbal communication skills**.*
