*Position : **Production Support Engineer** **with** **MS Access**, UNIX and
Autosys experience*
*Duration: 3 months*

*About the Position:** **
A Tier 1 Production Support Engineer with MS Access, UNIX and Autosys
experience. This role is execution and issue response focused which will
involve executing and troubleshooting jobs in a 24/7 environment. Engineer
should be very comfortable in using Autosys jobs in UNIX and Wintel
environments, understanding of SDLC etc. Engineer will also manage the
lifecycle of the defects generated and help in triaging and coordinating
with Development Teams in case of failures.** **
Responsibilities:** **
• Operating in setting where job execution is 24/7.** **
• Work with development, Business, QA, and Automation engineers to determine
** **root cause** **of production issues.** **
• Must have excellent** **problem solving skills** **and be capable of
breaking down complex situations to discover and resolve** **root causes**,
this applies to both technical issues and process issues.** **
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and writing with the ability to
discuss issues with users and management** **
• Provide metrics and project planning updates.** **
Qualifications:** **
Must Have** **
• 5 years of MS Access (Very strong), VB Script (Moderately strong) and UNIX
(Very strong) experience** **
• Familiarity with Autosys (Very strong),** **batch processing** **and
Oracle Collections** **
• Ability to perform SQL query execution** **
• Experience with Wintel (Moderately strong).** **
• Excellent written and** **verbal communication skills** **
• Excellent teaming skills** **
Nice to Have** **
• Familiarity with the mortgage business and the SDLC.** **
