US. We have an urgent requirement with our client/Preferred Vendor. The job

Job Title: Sr. Oracle Developer
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 6 Months
Start ASAP
This position is for a very senior Oracle Developer with at least 8-10 years
of experience. This person should be at the designer-level and should have
exposure to architecture but will be doing development. Oracle DB Admin
exposure is key as well. The consultant does not necessarily have to be a DB
admin but should have a high degree of DBA awareness. Tasks include writing
stored procedures, PL/SQL development, dealing with table health, table
space health, etc.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
. Must have 8-10 Yrs of Oracle Hands-on Exp.
. Extensive working knowledge of Stored Procedures, Functions
. Experience with Database Tuning, Monitoring.
. Experience in configuring large scale databases .
. Experience writing shell scripts and Perl scripting.
. Experience managing table structures and table spaces.
. Experience with Subversion (SVN) source code control system.
. Excellent problem solving capabilities
. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
. Significant experience serving in a Team Lead role.
. Ability to influence large teams to solve complex problems.
. Expertise in Ref Cursors and Collections.
. Must be able to work in a matrix organization and team
environments.
. Strong Analytical and problem solving skills.
. Ability to resolve complex issues related to project
interdependencies.
. Self-motivated individual with ability to rapidly adapt to new
environments and changing requirements.
. Ability to deliver given challenging deadlines.
. Service-oriented: strong interpersonal skills with a focus on
delivering service to clients on other teams.
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desired Skills:
* Telecommunications Industry experience strongly preferred
* Experience with XML
