Skill Set 1. Experience in IBM’s Websphere Commerce Server 2. Java / J2EE 3. Endeca exposure (preferred) 4. Experience in eCommerce Operations / Support Years of Experience: 6 Years IT with couple of years in WCS Roles & Responsibilities 1. Create/Review technical specification documents and provide suggestions to development team 2. Receive transition from Development and train a team for working in Websphere Commerce Server 3. End to end support of WCS application including recovery and permanent fixes 4. Direct offshore activities based on task priority and timeline 5. Receive knowledge transfer from Offshore 6. Mitigate gaps with supportability features and Supportability NFRs with application support engineers 7. Test supportability features during UAT 8. Publish weekly status report to application support engineers showing progress of planned activities 9. Face to the business support team with application support engineers 10. Create knowledge articles & Severity Grids 11.
