*Below is the requirement:* * * *Position 2: *Powertrain HIL Engineer *Duration: *6 Months (may get extended) *Location: *Troy, MI *AREA: *PowerTrain Hardware-In-Loop *CLASSIFICATION TITLES:* HIL Testing Engineer/ HIL Plant Development Engineer *TYPICAL DUTIES:* Powertrain HILs are configured for engine and transmission validation in simulated environment. *Typical duties to be carried out by HIL engineer are as below:* Perform validation of various features in engine management system on HIL setup Documentation of HIL test procedure Setup of ProveTech/ Control Desk working environment Setting the DTCs through ControlDesk. Reading the fault codes using DTS in ControlDesk. Work experience in HIL using dSPACE systems (Controldesk/Automationdesk) Knowledge of diagnostic protocols : CAN,KWP and UDS Scripting and debugging skills : Python, VB, CAPL Usage of calibration tools INCA Usage of code flashing tools Handling of various controllers, harness and other hardwares Matlab/Simulink experience Strong coordination and communication skills *QUALIFICATIONS:* Good overall knowledge of IC engines and engine control systems Experience in standard validation tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe , INCA, Ibox, MDA, diagnostic tools.
