Title: Test Automation Engineer Location: Jacksonville, FL Duration: 9+ month contract (Face to face after phone interview- any location (EAST but not from Pacific) will do as long he can come for a face to face) Positions: 6 Openings PLEASE NOTE A candidate will be considered if they do not have experience as a Developer but are highly proficient in test automation and tools including *VB Script and/or VB.NET* and have been in an automation role for 4 or more years. ***This is not a functional testing position. Please read the job description and required skills and desired skills sections for details*** *Job Description:* 1) Participate in Test Planning activities and develop automation strategies and frameworks 2) Design, build, test, deploy, maintain and execute effective test automation solutions by understanding precisely what the test designer wants any given test case or group of test cases to accomplish 3) Design, Develop, Execute and Maintain complex automated tests using HP QTP that requires highly complex scripting in VB Script 4) Plan, generate, maintain and executes detailed test plans and scripts for verification of software functionality 5) Use HP Quality Center for Defect tracking, requirement gathering, and planning, analyzing results, storing and executing the Automated Test Scripts. 6) Select and develop appropriate test automation tools, applying the latest techniques in test automation 7) Use risk-driven techniques to develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites for various Software products 8) Evaluate the non-functional requirements for testability and participate in the review of the technical acceptance criteria.
