Job Description : Oracle DBA Duration: 6+ months Location: Herndon, VA Rate: Open/HR **Need to make 5 more hires** HAMP- MUST BE US CITIZEN OR GREEN CARD. *Position Description**|**Senior Oracle Database Administrator About the Project: Investor Reporting 2 (IR2) is a medium-scale (8-10 million records), high-performance transaction mortgage servicing system, which will be used to run the Home Affordable Modification Program announced by the administration. It implements a standardized, streamlined process to modify loans regardless of current holders (ie, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Private Label Security or Bank Portfolio). Its purpose is to shadow-service mortgages which have been modified under the program in order to prevent foreclosure. IR2 is being developed using proven technologies, including PL/SQL, ORACLE, Ab-Initio and Java following industry best practices for development. About the Team: The IR2 Database team is responsible for data modeling, metadata management, database design, database administration and support throughout the system lifecycle for project. The team strives for providing timely high-quality supports, and database expertise to contribute to the success of the projects. About the Position: The Senior Database Administrator will provide all data management functions and participate in the design and implementation of high performance and high reliability databases. The candidate will be in rotation with other team members to provide 24 X 7 support. The candidate also will be engaged in the database architecture decisions. In addition, strong Data Mart design, modeling and implementation skills are highly desirable for this position.
