This including Cisco, Juniper and other vendor routers and switches environment. They will be responsible for design and manage the Global OSPF, BGP, dynamic route maps routing environments as well as testing and tuning the failover of the global MPLS and VPN networks. They will also help design and manage the global Data Center infrastructure. Collective knowledge over multiple staff - Optical, DWDM, MPLS, Advanced Route Map and Routing of OSPF, BGP open standards, DC2015/GWAM communication refinement to ensure that the migration of Client networks to the new data center is smooth The client is looking for a staff augmentation engagement to help them in their network and data center migration. Client wants to transition their current global network from an existing data center environment to a new datacenter environment located in Greensboro North Carolina by 2Q 2012. They currently have a dual carrier MPLS network (ATT & VzB), multiple disparate frame based networks, point to point networks, Internet services, mainframe networks which they use to support their bank partners on their Global Network Services, card services, business, travel, call center, and other back office networks. Client is looking for VzB to provide network integration and design consulting, network knowledge transfer, and migration recommendations as well network configuration activity on a variety of technologies including Optical, DWDM, MPLS, Advanced Route Map and Routing of OSPF, BGP, and open standard protocols. It is critical that the Data Center migration results in an efficient network, which is positioned for scalability, network and application growth and IPv6 transition. Routing is a key issue at Client, they have no route summarization, growing route tables and route maps. They need lots of help in this area. They realize that a single person may not have all the skills but expect that they 3 network people will collectively have the skills. Certifications provide some credibility but experience counts and speaks volumes. They will interview the candidates that we present The Senior Network Architects/Engineers will assist design/architect the OSPF and BGP solutions for the Data Center project on multi vendor environment. Knowledge of multi vendor environment is the key for proper OSP, BGP, Advanced route map solutions. The position will also help develop the global QoS over MPLS solutions to encompass domestic and international sites using COTS components. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS ARE: 1. Architect/Design LAN/WAN and date Center network for OSPF/BGP/Advanced Route Maps for Switches, Routers, and Physical environment. 2. Design the next generation Data Center network 3. Troubleshoot and monitor all aspect of the Data Center Routing/Switching and Optical network. *Skill Sets:* 1 1. Demonstrated Strong infrastructure architecture/design of multi *vendor OSPF/BGP/MPLS network and trouble shooting ability*. 2. The ability to identify new enhancement areas in routing/switching and mitigate global network risks. 3. Ability to create detailed design documentations, implementations and test plans 4. Ability to work well in a team. a. *CCNP, CCDP and other Juniper certifications (CCIE/JNCIE Preferred)** * b. Broad range of experiences designing and architecting complex dynamic routing/switching domains using standard based protocols in a multi vendor network. 1. Eight to Ten years of network design and management experience 2. 9+ years OSPF and BGP routing and switching experience in a vendor agnostic environment 3. Preferred experience includes one to three years WAN Optimization management, and firewall configuration and management. 4.
