My name is Vikram reddy, and i am Technical Recruiter with Nihaki Systems inc.we have an oppurtunity for below position. if you are interested please send an updated resume and also suggest me the best time to discuss in detail. *--please send resume to [email protected]* Job Description: IT Analyst Duration: 6+ months Location: Herndon, VA Rate: Open/HR (Negotiable) *Job Information: Evaluate software products against business, technical and operational needs and provide recommendations to the Information Technology Asset Management (ITAM) group that is leading an enterprise wide effort to rationalize the use of software products. Key Job Function: 1) Perform analysis to categorize software products as Buy/Hold/Sell based on the target state architecture and roadmap. 2) Identify products owners for one or more software products approved for use and Work with the owners, Subject Matter Experts and Center of Excellence teams to streamline the technology selection, approval and retirement processes. 3) Assist with establishing and capturing relationships between applications and the corresponding software products/tools on which they were built. 4) Identify unapproved products based on usage reports from different platforms (Windows, Solaris and Linux) and help the governance team to remove the unapproved products from the environment. 5) Work with Procurement, Enterprise Architecture, development managers and all other workstreams as part of the ITAM effort as needed to collect data on product usage, license information, cost, product ownership, best practices etc and recommend solutions for improving the efficiency and reducing the cost. 6) Work with the ITAM group in refining the Technology Selection Process (TSP) and recommend improvements. Qualifications EDUCATION · Bachelor Degree or Equivalent Area of Study · Computer Science or Engineering MINIMUM EXPERIENCE 4-6 years of relevant experience SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS Experience in analyzing software products for various capabilities and recommending solutions.
