Responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing and managing schedules to ensure the timely completion of project within budget and timeline. Must be familiar with the systems scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member in order to effectively coordinate the activities of the team. *Job Responsibilities:* Oversees multiple workstreams and manages other PMs. Fosters increased organizational maturity in project management and is a champion of PM processes. Assures that best practices are applied to all workstreams. Oversees the project management work of others to ensure the successful creation, modification expansion and transition of complex information systems, related processes and programs on all projects for the assigned areas. Oversees Junior PMs and guides them in system design and development. Acts as a resource to other PMs in the determination and interpretation of client requirements for project plans, deliverables and acceptance criteria. Leads PMs in anticipating, evaluating and resolving multiple, simultaneous organizational project issues and risks, delays and problems by utilizing project management and business expertise. Promotes and develops communication and coordination between or among project team members and management Oversees and directs other PMs in the creation of project documentation. Accountable for ensuring that assigned PMs comply with practices, policies, procedures, legal requirements, and goals of project sponsors and approved methodologies. Acts as a workflow coordinator to ensure resources are being optimally utilized. Basic Qualifications: College degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or the Life Sciences preferred with 12+ years related project management experience or its equivalent. Preferred Qualifications: Background in technical infrastructure deployment and management.
