Please send us the resumes to * [email protected]* <[email protected]> if you are having any suitable consultants available for the earliest client submission. *Position: *Data Integration ETL Developer *Location:* AZ or CA *Duration:* 4+ Months *No. of Positions: 2* *Job Description:* *Position Purpose:* The primary role of the data integration / ETL developer is to take the design and technical specifications and develop effective and high quality technical solutions that meet the business requirements. The technical domain of the Data Integration Developer includes logical and physical data modeling, DI best practices, tools and technologies, security in the DI environment, DI development, performance tuning, and administration. *Major Responsibilities:* § Validate that the DI design and technical specifications are complete, consistent, concise, and achievable. § Responsible for collaborating with the DI designer, business analyst and data analyst to resolve gaps in DI design specifications and ensuring these decisions are documented. § Produces DI solutions meeting 100 percent of technical specifications and business requirements according to the established designs. § Proactive and diligent in identifying and communicating scope, design, development issues and recommending potential solutions. § Participates in DI design reviews. § Conducts DI unit tests and code reviews. § Helps builds consensus around the DI solution with the client and developers. § Participates in system and integration test; identifies and remedies solution defects. § Creates other technical deliverable artifacts needed for project implementation. § Growth and knowledge transfer to the client. § Growth and knowledge transfer to the team members. *Key Working Relationships: * The key working relationships of the Data Integration / ETL Developer include: § Solutions Manager Ambulatory § Senior Director Ambulatory § EHR Project Office § EHR Senior Management § Project Managers § Hospital staff *Experience: * § One to Three years experience with Microsoft SSIS ETL tool § Desired: · Experience with integration coding of Healthcare data. · Working on projects in a team environment of 5 or more team members § Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: § Possesses a thorough understanding of application programming, database and system design concepts. § Possesses a thorough knowledge and understanding of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures for project and program management § Strong presentation, and interpersonal and relationship-building-skills, with the ability to manage up, down and across levels of the organization. § Possess a strong understanding of the hospital Clinical Systems and best practices and regulatory requirements § Ability to manage time and competing priorities effectively § Possess strong communication skills to ensure the business is kept up to speed on the status of projects and aware of any possible issues § Possess understanding of project management phases, techniques and tools. § Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail. § Ability to work in a complex and matrixed team environment; experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. § Proven abilities in problem management and process analysis. § Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, schedule, and meet deadlines. § Skills in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio *Desired Skills:* Competency § Working knowledge of Ambulatory applications. § Strong understanding of current technologies and the ability to learn technologies quickly. § Problem solving skills: Adapt in response to new information, shifting priorities, changing conditions, or un-expected obstacles. § Strong communication and integration skills: Ability to train and effectively communicate with customers including listening, asking relevant questions, giving appropriate guidance and feedback. § Facilitation ability is a strong component of role: Manage meetings & Conflict resolution. § Conceptual skills: Understanding how decisions impact projects and people. § Works independently with only general direction and minimal supervision. Uses skills and abilities to complete complex tasks, including deciding which processes to use. § Advocates for and positively represents other programs and services when working with customers and stakeholders. § Show the ability to be self managed, can manage own time and prioritize work to meet timeline. § Demonstrate ability to reason logically and provide effective solution to complex problems.
