RESPONSIBILITIES

*Analysis and Solution Definition *

·         Quickly understands the business issues and data challenges of
customer’s organization

·         Develops or interprets use cases and develops functional
specifications, user stories, and system design specifications for new
products

·         Reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes
and recommendations related to proposed solution

·         Gathers and documents user interface and user experience
requirements

*Technical Recommendation and Testing *

·         Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved
in a timely manner

·         Works with customer personnel to identify required changes

·         Communicates needed changes to development team

·         Monitors testing efforts

*Project Execution *

·         Assures requirements traceability backwards and forwards

·         Effectively manages changes to requirements

·         Manages conflicts and issues to resolution

·         Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules

·         Takes input and appropriately and accurately applies
comments/feedback

·         Communicates and applies project standards

·         Consistently delivers high-quality services to our customer

*Communication*

·         Organizes and facilitates gathering of functional requirements
through interactive sessions with stakeholders

·         Accurately validates that documented requirements match the
intention of stakeholder needs

·         Facilitates effective team interaction

·         Delivers informative, well-organized presentations

·         Tactfully communicates difficult/sensitive information

*Technical Understanding *

·         Quickly adapts to project methodologies and tools

·         Understands Internet, Intranet, Extranet and client/server
architectures

·         Effectively uses models to depict simplified views of a complex
reality, and ensures information captured in different models is consistent
and accurate

·         Defines and delivers the reviewed and approved requirements
package to development team

·         Experienced with Agile methodology

·         Experienced in UML modeling, especially class, activity, state and
use case diagrams

*Problem Solving *

·         Identifies critical issues with ease

·         Exhibits confidence and an extensive knowledge of emerging
industry practices when solving business problems

·         Pushes creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing
industry practices and customer mindsets

·         Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with
possible solutions

·         Translates customer vision to requirements that are consumable by
software developers

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

·         BA required, Master’s degree preferred and 5+ years of business
analysis or requirements management experience

·         Superior communication skills, both written and oral

·         Self-motivated with strong attention to detail

·         Demonstrated strong decision-making skills, with the ability to
consider a broad range of internal/external factors when problem solving and
rendering decisions

·         Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and build
relationships with internal and external organizations

·         Experienced in developing user stories, mockups, simulations, and
wireframes

·         Ability to present status and other relevant information in a
format appropriate for audience

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office and at least one requirements
tool
