Qualifications, Skills & Attributes: This position requires a responsive, committed individual, who is able to maintain complete confidentiality, demonstrates attention to detail, is customer support driven, is willing to support everyone's efforts, and is able to manage competing demands. · Must have excellent client-facing/communication skills · Facilitation: lead requirements elicitation and review meetings · Interviewing: talk with individuals and groups about their needs and ask the right questions to surface essential requirements information · Interpersonal: interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts to capture requirements and resolve conflicts among project stakeholders · Must be strong in documentation · Writing: communicate information effectively to project stakeholders, internal customers, and technical groups; documenting all activities, business needs, processes, protocols, special requests and understandings. · Experience writing software development documentation, including but not limited to, Functional Requirements Document, System Requirement Document, Functional Design Document, Technical Design Document, Test Scripts, Release Notices, Use Cases, etc. · Must have the ability to take a business need and turn it into a requirement that can be turned over for design and development · Analytical ability: critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, translate up from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements · Must have excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills · Must have excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives · Must have the ability to review and interpret business intelligence to anticipate future growth and needed new and/or revised functionality. · Must have strong knowledge of current industry strategic business models and the interrelationships of those models that are required to complement the needed system. · Must be highly self motivated, directed and willing to take ownership of complicated, time-sensitive issues. · Must be able to respond effectively in a high energy/sense of urgency area Education and Experience Requirements · Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or comparable experience required · Min. 5 years of professional experience as part of an IT organization · Min. 3 years of experience as a system/business analyst · Experience must include working in a customer-driven business focused on the delivery of for-pay products and services aimed at discretionary spending · Experience specifying e-Commerce, POS, inventory management, accounting & reservation systems is highly desired · Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Microsoft technologies · Must have full project lifecycle experience · Expertise with system design and Scrum/Agile methodologies is a strong plus · Exposure to or experience developing web applications is a plus Thanks & Regards Durga Prasad..
