*Overview:*
The consultant will provides Data Analysis expertise with Healthcare payer
data specifically around code sets including ICD9, CPT, ICD9PR on claims
data. *MUST HAVE Healthcare Payer experience from one of the following
companies: Aetna, Cigna, Humana, and United Healthcare, Champus/Tricare,
Wellpoint, HCSC, TUFTS, Harvard Pilgrim, CDPHP, Oxford HP, Healthfirst NY &
NJ, Fallon, Americhoice, NHP***
*Requirements:*
1. Must have exp 5-7 exp m*anaging, assessing of* Data Analysis
expertise with Healthcare *and drive the solution based on business
requirements, current state architecture, data analysis input, and best
practices including: *
i. Facilitate & participate in all the
business requirement sessions, able to gain a good understanding of the
business needs including:
Ø *Review & implementing data analysis of payer data specifically around
code sets including ICD9, CPT, ICD9PR on claims data*
Ø dataflow analysis to analyze data flows and interfaces between systems
including claims processing, pricing, customer service and medical
informatics
Ø application analysis to analyze application processing logic such is data
splits, merges, deduplication
Ø *Has demonstrated they can lead business requirements teams, business
analysis teams. *
a. Technically competent: able to describe how they approach the work
as well as how to do the work (SQL, use of tools, etc.)
2. *Must have at least 10-15 years of healthcare background, with a
foundation in understanding the business areas, especially Member, Provider,
Claims. Understanding of IDC9/10 preferred.*
3. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the
organization.
4. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and
effective communicator
5. Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of
this project
