DTS is responsible for managing the firm's global storage portfolio and global GTI Server portfolio of 3,000 servers across plan, build and operate. The organization drives product management, engineering standards and productivity initiatives for server across the firm, as well as managing selected application services, including web hosting, middleware, source code management and database management. As a Production Microsoft SQL DBA, you will work in a team environment to provide knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and logical/physical design support including backup and recovery. A knowledge of other database management systems will be a plus, i.e., Sybase and Oracle. You will be responsible for upgrades, performance monitoring, installations, managing replication, diagnosing system problems, disaster recovery testing and maintaining user accessibility.
