Job Summary:
1) Design, develop, testing, and deploying browser based applications.
2) Use Agile/SCURM development process to document requirements, design
solutions and define technical architecture
3) Support the creation, maintenance and compliance of Agile/SCRUM
development standards and guidelines
4) Provide time estimates, project planning support and reporting, and
resource management
5) Assist with requirements clarification and refinement
6) Ability effective communicates with project customers and other project
team members
Skills & Professional Experience • 1+ years of experience with projects in
the Life Insurance or Healthcare Insurance industry is preferred. • 2+ years
with build Internet applications that can be access through multiple
browsers. • Prior Agile SCRUM experience is required including having used
one of the SCRUM project management tools such as Rally or VersionOne. •
Microsoft Certified Developer preferred. • 5+ years of experience with
advanced applications of Microsoft .NET technologies: Microsoft Web
Application Development ASP.NET applications event model Technologies
enabling access to data and services Interface design and implementation
with standard and custom Controls Implementation of Authentication and
Authorization Preferred experience includes the Telerik RadControls
Microsoft Web Services and Windows Communication Foundation SOAP and WSDL
Service, Data, Operation and Message Contracts Implementing Web Service
Services and Clients Relational Database Relational Database design and
implementation concepts Database query methods including SQL and stored
procedures SQL Server 2008 features SharePoint Experience implementing
custom web parts Implementing workflow solutions using Microsoft .NET
Workflow Service Application Development Core Technologies and Tools C#
programming language and .NET 3.5 API XML, XML Schema and .NET XML API
Visual Studio 2008 Visual SourceSafe Team Foundation Server Testing
Experience developing and executing unit tests as a standard part of the
development process Experience with helping define system integration and
regression tests plans Experience with supporting the integration,
regression, and client acceptance testing process
*primary responsibilities of the position:*
1) Strong software engineering discipline and daily hands-on software
development for distributed and high volume transaction processing systems
2) Must be able to work with changing requirements
3) Flexible with traveling and be able to work with minimal requirement
4) Develop high quality software that is well tested and confirms to user
requirements
