* * *POS: RESTFUL API Developer Location: Minneapolis, MN Length: 6 months Rate: Open* * Description: Looking for a RESTFUL API developer to spearhead the new development of a best-in-class RESTful API using Java, Spring, relational and non-relational data sources. The API will better expose a large, diverse product catalog in both broad and singular granularity to internal and external data consumers. The architecture is a forward-looking implementation and will present significant opportunities for learning and require creating innovative solutions to technical problems. Experience with Iterative or Agile development environments is desirable. The candidate is expected to have: * 7-9 years of development experience with at least 2 of those in a leadership role. * Experience with web, E-commerce, retail, and/or API technologies. * Understanding and previous experience with development concepts related to cohesion, coupling, full SDLC, test driven development and/or pair programming.
