Position : Salesforce.com lead Developer Duration : 6-12 months Location : downtown Houston TX SALESFORCE.COM DEVELOPER: A downtown Houston client has an opportunity for a Salesforce.com Development Lead. Under general supervision, the Development Lead provides technical expertise in design, development, coding, testing, and debugging new software or significant enhancements to existing software. Conducts a wide range of quality-control tests and analyses to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements. Leads and mentors less experienced developers to grow the team to meet all business needs. Undertakes complex projects requiring additional specialized technical knowledge in software testing. Contributes expertise at top technical levels in particular business processes and is responsible for formulating systems scope and objectives relative to the organization's business plan and requirements. Education and Experience : Required: Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, MIS or similar area of study. Five to eight years of previous Information Technology experience required. A minimum of One years as a technical lead or architect. Preferred: Master's Degree. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements Preferred: Salesforce.com certification(s) Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required A proven functional/technical professional with at least 2 full lifecycle SalesForce.com implementations and 5+ years of industry or consulting experience. Leadership or Software Architectural experience Extensive experience developing within SalesForce.com. Strong configuration and design skills are essential to this position. A proven resource in defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines. Adept at implementing technology-enabled business solutions for clients as part of a high-talent team focused over-delivering customers needs.
