*Software engineer Requirement* The Software Development Engineer contributes to design decisions and discussions with the Design Review Team (DRT), develops, tests and documents software, supports formal validation of products, and interfaces with customers and other vendors as necessary during the product development cycle. The Software Development Engineer is also responsible for supporting Client Services with issues that either fall beyond the technical scope of the Client Services team or that are too unique or subtle for a Client Services representative to be expected to resolve. The Software Development Engineer is responsible for knowing, supporting and utilizing the BASS Quality System, the Software Design Control Process (SDCP) and any related procedures. As such, the Software Development Engineer will be called upon to produce documentation in support of this process, conduct design and phase review meetings or act as a Project Team Leader (PTL) in support of a process controlled project. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Minimum 5 years of software development experience and a Bachelor’s engineering degree or equivalent. Experience developing Windows applications in the following areas: C# and .NET is required. Solid database experience with Microsoft SQL Server is also required SQL Server Skills must include database design, implementation, deployment and maintenance as well as programming and scripting. Analysis Services and SQL Server Integration Services experience are a plus. Strong data modeling, consolidation, aggregation, and cleanup skills are a must.
