*We need an UI Developer at NY* Duration: *18 Months* Location: *NY/NY *(GC/Citizens/EAD preferred) Rate: *$50/HR on C2C* *Relevant Experience (Yrs):* Overall 5+ years of experience with 4+ years of exp as User Interface developer. *Necessary Skills:* Minimum 4+ years of exp in UI development Overall 5+ year exp Knowledge of Agile methodology Good communication skills. Excellent presentation skills & and attention to detail *Desired Skills* Expert-level knowledge of Javascript and DOM scripting Expert-level knowledge of HTML, DHTML, XML, CSS, AJAX, ExtJ, JQuery, YUI, DOJO and other similar UI libraries Expertise in cross browser/platform compatibility issues Proven in the implementation of user interface models for standalone applications and web applications Experience in mobile web UI design and rich internet applications (RIA) is desirable. Ability to work independently as well as with various size teams *Roles & Responsibilities:* Represent the "User Experience", translate customer requirements into defined specifications and work with the Engineering team to develop the right product. Develop and maintain the UI portion of software product interface by working with Information architect, UI designer, product management, business analyst, software developers, and architects. Work closely with designer to implement user experience. Work with development team using Agile development methodology. Must start on site with UI design team (probably 4 -8 weeks) before working remotely (offshore) *Generic Managerial Skills:* Able to plan/track tasks/activities *Education:* BS in computer science, advanced degree in human-computer interaction, human factors, or related field preferred.
