The New Media Department is responsible for the strategic delivery of online and multi-channel initiatives for client. The Web Technical Architect will be a critical technical lead role within the New Media organization. The role will be responsible for evaluating and defining the technical architecture and road-map and overseeing the implementation of solutions within this group. The individual will work closely with the Enterprise Architecture team during the upfront concept and initiation stages as well as provide technical oversight and direction to the New Media development teams during the execution of projects.
Responsibilities · Provides technical leadership in the web, social, mobile spaces within Client. · Presents recommended solutions and analysis to Executive Management. · Conduct rapid solution architecture assignments · Develops an increasing understanding of evolved technologies and architectures, including; enterprise architecture strategies and implementation, architecture software design, construction, and deployment best practices, architecture and component performance testing, hosting strategies and infrastructure architectures, Object Oriented Programming (OOP), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Web Oriented Architecture (WOA), Web 2.0/3.0, social, mobile · Manage hand-off of conceptual architecture / solution from Enterprise Architecture Team · Oversee solutions implementation after they have been conceptualized from Architecture team · Lead tool analysis/decisions among delivery team · Focus on New Media Specific thought leadership/architectural/technical needs such as framework and tools selection · Evolve New Media strategic technology roadmap · Establish a forward looking framework and have focus on where we want to go. E.g., Rapid app dev (like LAMP and RoR), personalization engines, collaboration tools, social media capabilities, online commerce, etc. · Manage New Media code quality standards definition and enforcement and continuous integration policies/practices · Rapidly develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts Required Skills:* Proven Expertise in: · Seven plus years of progressively responsible directly-related experience, including architecture experience are required. · Solution architecture · J2EE , JSON, SOAP, REST · Lean / Agile/ Cloud computing · Mobile platforms/SDK's like iPhone, iPad, Android · Social platforms/API's like Facebook, Twitter, Ning · Web 2.0 platforms/API's like YouTube, Jive SBS, Google API's -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OracleD2K" group.
