Looking for a Senior MicroStrategy resource with strong MicroStrategy Report development and MicroStrategy Administration experience. This role's responsibilities include MicroStrategy Administration (Intelligence Server/Narrowcast Server), MicroStrategy Version Upgrades, Co-ordinate with other internal teams during software/systems upgrades/maintenance, providing support to end users and Report development. Technical Skills: Strong MicroStrategy Administration skills using MicroStrategy Version 8.x/9.x in Windows and Unix Environments. MicroStrategy Report Development using MicroStrategy Desktop. MicroStrategy Architect skills are preferred, but not a must to have. Performance tuning of Intelligence Server and Troubleshooting of Intelligence Server issues. Strong technical skills with Narrowcast Administrator. Narrowcast Service development using dynamic subscriptions. Strong SQL Skills with knowledge of relational databases. 70% of the time is with MicroStrategy Administration. Experience: At least 5 years of experience with Report Development and MicroStrategy Administration. At least 2 years of experience with MicroStrategy Architect. Experience in upgrading MicroStrategy environments from Version 8.x to 9.x , Windows to Unix Environment. Experience working in a Clustered Intelligence Server and Multiple Web Server Environment. Educating report developers with report development standards and enforcing the standards during MicroStrategy Object promotions Other Key Qualities: Must be a team player with strong interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to follow standards and procedures.
