Job Description Responsibilities • Work closely with other SW Engineers to design, develop, integrate and support applications. • Design and develop web applications • Author software design specifications • Unit and Integration testing • Ability to research, propose and prototype new principles, technologies, tools and concepts and integrate them into the teams collective knowledge Technical skills requirements • 4-8 years of application development experience with emphasis on following tools and technologies. • Development, deployment and management of a large messaged based production system • Object-Relational mapping tools/technologies • Development, analysis and test experience with highly scalable platforms • Experience in designing and developing Web Applications OO Design, Implementation Tools and Methodologies -Core Java, J2EE, Tomcat, XML -Strong database knowledge (Oracle), -Development tools, Eclipse IDE, JUnit -Struts, JSP – Java UI Tier, Ajax, Web 2.0, Flex - Voice/Video quality of the applications - Web Services -Hibernate 3.1 – Object Relational Mapping General requirements SSH, general Linux/Unix expertise Networking expertise in general - TCP/IP, UDP Familiarity with Cisco Products Health Care domain knowledge Familiarity with Healthcare standards such as HL7.
