We have very urgent one positions in Kansas City, for Project Manager..
Duration: 5 Years Contract.
*Project Manager:*
- Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least
8 years experience in direct project management of Information Technology
projects and the implementation of Project Management best practices.
- Additional experience managing Data Warehouse projects.
- Manages the EDW certification and user-acceptance testing process and
works closely with various stakeholders including developers, testers and
the client to ensure timely and accurate testing results, status reporting
and risk mitigation.
- Interfaces with and reports the status of each phase of the project and
subprojects to the client.
- Responsible for allocating and overseeing resources, reviews work for
completeness and quality, and ensures compliance with test policies,
applying corrective action when problems arise.
- Provides management reporting on test progress, test outcomes, success
rates, issues, and risks.
- Ensures that deployed releases and the resulting services meet customer
expectations, and verifies that IT operations are able to support the new
services. Monitors status of assignments and schedules.
- Candidates will have proven ability to lead Enterprise Data Warehouse
testing and implementation efforts, planning estimates, critical path,
dependencies and schedules.
- Manages large data warehousing testing projects that include automated
testing.
- Strong leadership and communication skills (oral and written).
- Able to manage change and communicate changes and their impacts to
appropriate stakeholders.
- Experience using Microsoft Project and Spreadsheets.
- Experience managing risks and contingency planning.
- Experience in using Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Experience with the Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) process. Familiar
with HP Quality Center.
