*Job Title:* Programmer Analy
*Rates: *1099/CTC: $50/hr
Con-W2: $43/hr
W2: $37/hr
*Duration:* 6 month Contract-To-Hire
*Location:* New Albany OH
Direct client requirement
*What you'll do:*
- The Programmer/Analyst under general supervision codes, tests, deploys
and support software applications. Works in a fast paced team environment,
and has the ability to set priorities and manage multiple work assignments
simultaneously. He/She possesses the ability to learn new technology and
business processes.
- May perform detailed design with other programmers, business analyst,
and architects to ensure classes and components meet project requirements
and goals.
- Code/Test/Debug software applications or technical architecture
components.
- Perform configuration, setup and maintenance for server based
applications.
- Follow good security coding practices to ensure the application is free
of most common coding vulnerabilities.
- Communicate with the team and project manager throughout the code cycle
process.
- Support users, business partners, and applications (24 x 7)
- Write documentation on the application to facilitate maintenance.
- Perform code maintenance and develop test data.
*Required Skills:*
- Experience on AIX/UNIX & Oracle 9i, 10g Database
- Experience with SQL and/or PL/SQL
- Experience with XML/XSD interfacing & standards
- Requires beginner to advanced level knowledge and understanding of
architecture, application systems design and integration
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems,
or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
- Outstanding communications skills; able to articulate complex technical
topics for non-technical audiences.
- Familiar with relational database concepts.
- Preferred
- Experience with Trade stones Application Suite
- Education or Experience in Retail; with Supply Chain Systems and
Product Development Lifecycle
- Experience with Java / J2EE , HTML, CSS, JavaScript technologies, and
Jasper Reports
*Nice to Have*
- Exposure to Micro strategy BI Tools
- Experience with Manhattans PKMS or LM or other Warehouse Management
Systems
