Only for GC /Citizens or EAD card Candidates Title: Head of Project Management Location: midtown manhattan Duration: Full Time Position Job Summary The Head of Project Management is a critical department head overseeing the Project Managers, who deliver eCommerce sites to clients, and the Service Delivery Managers, who drive enhancements and changes for live client eCommerce sites. Roles and Responsibilities ü Lead, Manage Develop and motivate the teams of Project Managers and Service Delivery Managers. ü Deliver through the service Delivery Managers a program of enhancements clients live eCommerce sites. ü Be responsible for the Work of all Service Delivery Managers and ensure that they: v Understand clients’ needs and make certain that clients fully understand proposed solutions and delivery plans; v Liaise with internal technical teams on client requirements; v Manage process and procedures to deliver the results the client expects to agreed KPIs; v Confirm that programs meet requirements (e.g. functionality, usability, performance, scalability, security, resiliency, etc.); v Make certain that solutions make full use of existing platform functionality, with a minimal level of platform development; and v Guarantee that all programs are delivered using the agreed structured SDM methodology. Skills/Education/Experience ü Atleast 5 yrs experience in client-facing commercial project management role in ITservice-providing organization, preferably in the eCommerce sector. ü Experience leading a team in delivering concurrent changes for many customers, including minor change requests, medium sized enhancements (1 to 3 man months) through to large scale projects (6 to 12 months durations). ü Experience recruiting, managing and retaining the teams that successfully deliver the project and changes on-time, to specification, to budget, to quality and to delighted customers.
