The ideal candidate will have a portfolio of work to showcase his/her talent and creativity. Responsibilities Overall Look and Feel Develop an overall look and feel (branding /style) for the new application. Standard Templates While our new system could have 600+ screens, the candidate is expected to analyze the current application’s screens and functionality such that about 12 to 20 standard templates can be defined that will be used to construct all the screens in the new system and other products. This project / engagement will not be a screen by screen redesign activity. These templates will be plugged into the code generation tool, allowing a small amount of screen meta-data to produce the bulk of the XAML and code-behind and Model-View View Model code. Style Guide and WPF Resource Library Windows Presentation Library (WPF) Resource Library is a simple way of keeping useful objects such as brushes, templates, controls, in a library for reuse and other benefits.
