Use your background in development and testing to perform highly technical testing across a suite of financial products. Work closely with a cross-functional team including business leaders, development engineers, scrum masters, and project managers to execute testing within an extremely fast-paced environment. Leverage your back-end testing knowledge to develop testing strategies for a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Web Services experience (XML,SoapUI) Work closely with developers to isolate and reproduce defects, participate in user story development and test case reviews. The White box Java developer will be responsible for developing test code, test tools, and develop test automation. The candidate should have strong interest and experience in coding Java/C++ as well as some QA fundamentals. With your can do attitude, bright smile and sharp skills come join a team that is willing to take on any challenge and succeed! Development/Testing experience with Java, JUnit, and J2EE, able to conduct code reviews in Java. Proficient in any scripting language preferably Perl, Python, Shell Understanding of RDBMS fundamentals and strong working knowledge of SQL. Good working knowledge of Linux platform Self-motivated, independent and proactive Excellent communication skills. Experience working autonomously and effectively with remote leadership and teams Knowledge of back office Payments, Credit and Operational processes (Credit / Underwriting, Settlement, Chargeback, etc) a plus History of commitment and stick-to-it delivery even in the face of unforeseen challenges and an ability to clearly communicate the challenges as they come Proactive problem solver who is a solution based creative thinker and communicator Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field and/or at least 4+ years Java development experience.
