Project Manager with with Safety Systems Implementation experience (Argus
Safety or ArisG).



Seeking an experienced *project manager* in the area of patient safety
systems *implementation*. Ideally the candidate will have experience
as a *project
manager* in the successful *implementation* of a safety system in a medium
size pharmaceutical company and will demonstrate a mix of technical and
soft skills that would make him/her a superior candidate. The Safety System
*Implementation* *Project Manager* is accountable for the success of the
deployment of a COTS (commercial of the shelf) solution for the Global
Patient Safety department. The *project manager* will define, plan and
monitor all activities in scope of the project. The *project manager* will
collaborate with personnel in IT, Patient Safety as well as external
vendors to ensure a successful *implementation* ideally on time, on budget,
and within scope according to business priorities. Throughout the lifecycle
of these projects, the PM is responsible for making appropriate tradeoffs
with project teams to mitigate any issues or risks. The *project
manager*will report progress, risks and mitigations to a
cross-functional project
steering committee (project governance).


Strategy and Governance

*Ensure project results have an articulated scope with quantifiable
business benefit.
*Connect project messaging and reporting to strategic business initiatives.
*Manage project spend and validate financial forecasts throughout the
project lifecycle.
*Represent the project at project governance and inter-department forums.
*Align project to SLC project methodology
*Act as a liaison with the external system integrator to ensure cohesive
planning and execution of the project

Business Relationship Management
*Develop communication plans and interfaces to actively engage business
partners.
*Partner with business sponsors to define success metrics and criteria.
*Serve as Subject Matter Expert in briefing stakeholders on assigned
initiatives.
*Provide accurate forecasts of performance to relevant business
stakeholders.
*Communicate project progress to key constituents.

Project Delivery

*Assess and resolve all high priority project risks as they are encountered.
*Define and create project plans for relevant projects stream as part of
the Global Patient Safety System *Implementation*
*Manage all aspects of the project life cycle, and work with team members
to oversee all phases of project completion.
*Facilitate all operational checkpoint activities throughout the project
lifecycle.
*Manage scope to ensure agreed time, cost, and quality parameters are met.
*Coordinate the review and approval of vendor deliverables
