Urgent Position: Only for GC /Citizens or EAD card Candidates *Title: *Sr Systems Engineer** *Location: *manhattan *Duration: Full Time Position* Responsibilities ü Leadership in key projects such as data center architecture, capacity planning, upgrades and migrations. ü Working closely with our Systems, Help Desk and eBusiness Strategy teams throughout the Company to support customers by solving technical issues as they arise. ü Providing application and platform support, including configuration management, operational changes and deploying new web sites delivered by the development teams. ü Managing and supporting production systems and networks to high levels of availability, performance and security ü Participating in both a 24-7 on-call rotation and evening shift rotation from 12PM – 9PM Eastern time. ü Enhancing established processes to ensure consistent and quality work. *Essential Technical Skills* ü UNIX Administration (Linux/Redhat/CentOS preferred) in an online environment. ü Broad administration of services such as Apache (ideally with mod_perl), DNS, software version control (Subversion, CVS, GIT). ü Systems programming (Shell and ideally Perl). ü Experience building open source package sets suitable for reproducible installation. ü Experience supporting environments with large (>100) number of servers, Web Load balancer ü Management (Zeus preferred). ü Familiarity with NetApp filter administration or similar. ü Knowledge of networking, firewalls, routers/switches (Cisco preferred). ü Knowledge of security standards (PCI_DSS preferred). *Skills Required* ü Educated to degree level, preferably Computer Science degree or equivalent. ü Must be comfortable working on projects in a team environment with remote teams across different time zones and cultures. ü Results driven, self motivated, positive “can-do” attitude. ü Attention to detail, working to procedures, taking responsibility for output. ü Ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced environment, maintaining quality at all times. ü Ability to document and/or automate common tasks. ü An excellent and clear communicator, providing reports to line management as required. ü Experience in the eCommerce industry preferred. *Please provide the following details:* *FULL NAME: * *EMAIL ID: * *CONTACT:* *WILLING TO RELOCATE:* *AVAILABILITY:* *VISA STATUS: * *SALARY/ RATE EXPECTATION:* *CURRENT LOCATION: * *F2F: * *2 References from current projects in the following format.
