*Overview:*
The consultant will provide design, develop and implement a scalable,
reliable and extensible financial ETL application platform. Collaborate
with the more senior developers and team leads to fully understand
expectations, work assignments, coding standards, specifications,
requirements etc.Furthermore, will provide support for code promotion,
deployment, and troubleshooting
*Requirements:*
1. Must have exp 2+ yrs exp creating high level and detailed ETL
designs using Ab Initio GDE and basic component sets *(i.e. Dataset,
Database, Transform, Look-up, De-partition & Partition ,{*
2. Must have prior exp assisting in gathering, identifying &
clarifying reporting requirements
a. In-depth understanding of the GDE, core component sets (i.e.
Dataset, Database, Transform, Look-up, De-partition & Partition), file
management utilities and usage of environment variables.
b. Develops and/or leads the development of prototypes
3. Must be able to perform the following activities including:
*a. **Developing and optimizing complex graphs that move and/or
manipulate large volumes of data*
*b. **Expertise analyzing and optimizing performance of extracts,
loads and transformations*
*c. **Strong knowledge and use of BI/DW development methodologies,
standards and procedures*
4. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the
organization.
5. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and
effective communicator
6. Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of
this project
