Here is the job description.
*Position*: * IBM Datastage Developers (2-3)*
*Location*: Buffalo, NY
*Length*: 3-4 months w/option for
additional time
*Start Date*: ASAP
*Rate: * $50- all inclusive(negotiable)
*Overview:*
Consultant will be responsible for providing design and development ETL
Code utilizing the IBM Information Server Datastage v7.5 or V8.1.2.
*Role/Responsibilities: *
1. Must have 2-3+ yrs of Data Mapping of data sources using Datastage
v7.5 or v8.1 to develop ETL code including:
a. Test and fix code per Unit, System Integration, Performance
i. Performance
tuning of ETL jobs
ii. Data standards
and metadata management SQL Standards / Processes/Tools
iii. ETL Development,
monitoring, reporting and metrics
b. Familiar with data warehousing architectures
c. Cube consolidation
2. *Clinical quality, CRMS and VIPS* *background is huge plus *
3. Should have experience in the defining ETL standards & processes
4. Must have previous exp interfacing & working with users to discuss
requirements
5. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the
organization.
6. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and
effective communicator
7. Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of
this project
