*Location: DC* *6 months project * *Java/J2EE Developer* *Background:* This effort is in support of “ICD-10 – Reengineering effort” project at Client located in Washington D.C. *This project requires strong knowledge in Java/J2EE, XML, Web Services and integration technologies that span across ESB and Business Rules Engine*. This position requires support for on-going Development, Systems test, Performance test, User Acceptance test, and Production and post-implementation activities. The project will involve broad Java/J2EE technologies. * * * * *Software:* WebSphere DB2 Microsoft Suite *Languages:* Java/J2EE DB2 UML * * * * * * *Tasks:*** · Perform application life-cycle activities in support of ICD-10 project: · Work with the architects and technical leads for additional requirements/changes · Accountable for meeting the milestones set for the projects · Responsible for conducting code review, unit and integration testing · Responsible for supporting on-going Systems test, Performance test, User Acceptance test, production and post-implementation activities * * *Projected Level of Effort:*** Through April 30, 2012. This SOW addresses the full development life cycle.. And it’s also very likely to extend after the initial phase. * * *Skills – Java/J2EE developer:*** This position requires a BA/BS in computer science or equivalent experience, and more than *8 years professional software development experience *in object-oriented language, including minimum of *6 years experience* *with Java and J2EE. * Specific requirements include, but not limited to: · Proven strong technical leadership · Experience with software development best practices (RUP, XP, Agile) · Strong hands on experience with UML · Excellent object oriented analysis and design patterns/techniques with emphasis on Java/J2EE technology · Extensive hands on experience with Java, J2EE, EJB, JSP, JDBC, Hibernate, JMX, JMS, Log4J · Wide breadth of knowledge across many Java Open-Source technologies including Ant, Struts, Spring, XML parser technology, SOA based infrastructure, JUnit and HTTPUnit · Excellent application performance tuning skills · Experience with RDBMS (DB2, Oracle or MS SQL) · Experience with IBM DataPower XI50 is a big plus -- Thanks & Regards Mahesh Atreyapurapu * StanSource Inc.
