Send me resume at [email protected]: Datastage -- Production Support Location: Bloomfield – ConnecticutDuration: 12+ Months 5 -7 years Primary Technical Skills: IBM Information Server, DataStage, QualityStage, Information Analyser, Oracle. Secondary Technical Skills: DB2, Mainframe, Java, Message Broker, MQ, UNIX -Knowledge in writing SQL (primarily Oracle). -Data mapping: source to target: target to multiple formats -Experience in the development of data extraction and load processes in a parallel framework -Understanding of normalized and de-normalized data repositories -Defining ETL standards & processes in production -Ensuring timely delivery of required ETL tasks -Performance tuning of ETL jobs -Data standards and metadata management -Mapping of data sources -ETL development, production monitoring/alerting, reporting and metrics -Focus on data quality Production Support Executive – Datastage Responsible for production issue analysis and triage related to the DataStage implementation as part of the complete solution. Responsible for working with Solution Analysts and other technologists (Java, MQ, Message Broker, DB2, Mainframe) that support the complete solution to identify root cause, develop manual workarounds and design long-term solutions. Responsible for the coding/development and unit testing of DataStage production fixes. Responsible for supporting the functional and integrated testing for production fixes both to the DataStage code as well as other components within the solution.
