We have a great position for one of our Client. *Please reply to [email protected]* *Role: Sr. Data Architect - NetAcad*** *Location: Milpitas, CA* *Duration: 6months* * * *Job Description:* · Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Data Architect. · Expertise on Logical Modeling, with thorough knowledge and working experience in capturing business requirements, and representing it through conceptual & logical data models. · Knowledge of 3 schema data modeling/architecture. · Expertise in project specific logical data modeling, that is the building block for application specific data representation. · Knowledge of data models such as, 3rd Normal Form models, Dimensional Data Model / Star Schema. · Requirement analysis capability. · Knowledge of Business Process & Data Flow. · Working Knowledge of SQL (RDBMS) & understand PL/SQL. · At least must have used one ETL tool (Informatica preferred). · Required to reverse engineer & explore data from physical schema. · Working knowledge of data modeling Tool. · Embarcadero ER/Studio and/or Erwin Data Modeler. · Knowledge of Physical Modeling. · Concept of controlled redundancy. · Advantages & disadvantages of De-normalization. · Performance issues with Oracle RDBMS & remedies. · Knowledge of Java/J2EE will be a great plus.** * * *Soft Skills: * · Discussion & Presentation to business SMEs to understand business needs, if needed.
