This is *Vijay Karthik* from *MARLABS Inc*. we have an urgent requirement for one of our client in *Massachusetts* , kindly go through the requirement and please send me if you have any consultants available to [email protected]. * * *Requirement:* Title: Sr. UI/UX Developer Location: Maynard , MA Duration – 6 months *Overview* As a Senior UI/UX Developer, you will collaborate with both the business side and our group of talented developers to implement beautiful and functional web design. You will need to be highly proactive with a meticulous eye for detail. This role calls for a UI/UX Designer that has equal parts technical savvy and creative bravado with the drive and passion to solve the most complex UI challenges. We’re looking for a front end coder with some design chops. Under general supervision develops and prepares programs (codes new or modified programs, reuses existing code). Prepares specs which will be used to program. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents and maintains those programs. Includes hands on in the SDLC *Basic responsibilities* • Work with business and development teams to envision, create and validate user interfaces and experiences for multiple platforms (take designs from concept to finished art) • Identify user requirements and translate them into design solutions • Support development on multiple platforms by mapping workflows, user paths and wire frames and creating storyboards, mockups, and low and high fidelity prototypes • Create graphics, icons and other visual design elements that meet modern user interface guidelines and standards for use in our products • Evaluate designs using user-centered design techniques such as UI reviews and cognitive walkthroughs • Maintain an awareness of current trends in technology, design and usability • Participate in site audits and usability studies with final analysis and documentation • Lead web and graphic design projects as well as provide design support for other projects/team members. • Create UX deliverables (wireframes, workflows, prototypes, comps, etc.) • Develop and deliver front end-design assets that can be "wired in" o Create HTML and CSS for a given Photoshop UI design o Hook JQuery and Javascript to real data o Apply CSS to basic MVC views *Qualifications:* • BA or BS in a creative or technical field, or equivalent experience as demonstrated by portfolio • 5+ years previous UI experience; portfolio showcasing a history of complex web interfaces and strong graphic design capabilities • Strong intuition for effective Web 2.0 style of user interfaces, focusing on uncluttered responsive design, smart navigation and SEO-friendly content • Mastery of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or Fireworks.
