Job description: The successful candidate will possess strong skills building Web-based applications using Oracle Portals Content Management System with PL/SQL. The candidate must demonstrate their extensive knowledge and on-hands experience with developing applications with Oracle Portal tools, and be ready to hit the ground running and be a productive team member. Client uses Oracle Portal with the PL/SQL programming language; therefore, candidate MUST be highly skilled in using these two components together to develop Web-based applications. Other skills that are required to successfully complete projects are HTML, CSS and Javascript. Outstanding written and verbal communication are required to enable collaboration with project teams, developers Mandatory Skill/Expertise: Minimum 8 years experience developing Web based applications using PL/SQL, HTML, CSS, Javascript, SQL Minimum 6 years experience with Oracle Portals Content Management System (version 9i and higher) to develop Web sites and Web-based applications using PL/SQL Programming Language. Minimum 2 years experience in using AJAX and XML to develop web-based applications. Minimum 2 years experience in logical database design and modeling Minimum 1 year experience in developing Web-based applications that meet W3C and Section 508 accessibility/usability standards.
