Position: Business Analyst
Location: Austin, TX
Duration: 6 - 18 months +
Client: St of TX 3022012 OAG
Description:
• Review Requirements for quality, completeness and consistency of
content.
• Ensure the project teams are applying the existing standards and
guidelines when developing the requirements and during Peer and
validation reviews.
• Document requirements defects and ensure corrections are made as
necessary.
• Review test scenarios for functional completeness. Verify the
scenarios are testing the requirements as well as the design.
• Document test case/script defects and ensure corrections are made as
necessary.
• Attend requirements gathering and validation sessions to help ensure
requirements standards and guidelines are applied appropriately.
• Recommend requirements gathering/review process improvements.
• Facilitate and conduct requirements Peer and Validation reviews.
• Attend high-level design sessions help ensure requirements standards
and guidelines are applied appropriately.
• Attend management and status meetings as necessary.
• Provide weekly status on these tasks
• Other activities as necessary.
II. WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:
Years Skills/Experience
8 Experience documenting, reviewing and gathering business
requirements; facilitating and conducting business requirements
gathering and business requirements review sessions; modeling business
processes; translating business requirements into system designs; and
creating and executing test cases.
8 Strong writing skills; ability to distinguish between a good and bad
requirement; experience with Business Services Modeling and Design;
Requirements Management and Testing Tools.
Strong Skills in communication and problem solving
