Position: Project Manager Location: Seattle, WA Duration: 6 months (extendable up to 12 more months) Client: University of Washington Description: • Experience in CRM projects (CRM Planning and Proof of Concept Project (CRMP3). • Experience in project and software development lifecycles and corresponding tools such as issue tracking systems and project management systems. • Experience managing outside contractors and vendors • Experience managing enterprise efforts that require participation and buyin from diverse end-user populations • Proven ability to facilitate decision making in the context of distributed leadership and competing interests. • Ability to speak and write about technical issues for both technical and non-technical audiences. • Strong communication and team building skills. • Ability to perform as liaison between units, divisions, and other organizations as required to achieve objectives; ability to develop efficient procedures and control mechanisms. • Attention to detail and firm commitment to quality and customer service Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree, or comparable work experience, in Communications, Information Science, Business Administration or related field. Minimum of 4 years experience leading collaborative projects within a team environment. Minimum of 4 years of experience performing progressively more complex tasks in information and technical management activities, and basic understanding of the underlying technologies. Additional Qualifications: Experience in project and software development lifecycles and corresponding tools such as issue tracking systems, configuration management systems, requirements management systems and project management systems. Experience managing outside contractors and vendors Experience managing enterprise level business application efforts that require participation and buyin from diverse end-user populations Proven ability to facilitate decision making in the context of distributed leadership and competing interests. Ability to speak and write about technical issues for both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong communication and team building skills.
