We have urgent requirement, please forward resume to *[email protected]* *Job Tasks: * o Review the Monitoring installation and perform remediation as required o Assess and document the current use cases and document opportunities for additional workflow adoption, automation, and integration with third-party management platforms o Conduct interviews with key stakeholders for critical business services in the scope of engagement and document results including architecture, monitoring points, explicit or implicit SLA, and resulting thresholds in the product o Create Advanced Application Recognition (Port / Server Associations) § Port/Server Grouping for key applications o Review and reconcile as necessary network monitoring definitions in Global settings including slice size, type of application definitions used, thresholds, use of KPI’s, and resulting reports in the form of workspaces and newspaper reports o Perform Packet Level Analysis as necessary to identify root-cause of application problems and verify initial results § Set up applications for Response Time measurement § Configure probes for Response time and Response time power alarms § Baseline results and in conjunction with application SLA develops alarm thresholds that will result in less than 10% false alarms. o Alert distribution and workflow integration § Alert Distribution Strategy § Integration of prescribed diagnostic steps into the application’s run book o Report Configuration that includes § Report Definition Plan § Report Distribution Strategy § Report Set-Up and Configuration o Identify users by role and their appropriate entitlement § Create user and assign roles § Add users to appropriate dashboards o Address process integration points and use cases § Review use of tool set in problem, capacity, availability, SLA, and Financial management processes resulting in gap documentation and recommendations § Review Integration of tool set with change, release, and configuration management processes resulting in gap documentation and recommendations o Review all the Monitoring software and hardware components installed o Discuss requirements for on-going management of components o Discuss troubleshooting techniques o Creation of a document which will include § Executive Summary § Details of the engagement Follow-up Recommendations *MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE * · At least 8 years of progressively responsible experience managing IT systems, networks, and/or security; · Extensive technical knowledge of NetIQ suite products: Appmanager, Analysis Center, Performance Profiler, Security Manager, Directory Resource Administrator. · Good understanding of implementation, configuration and execution of correlation rules; · Experience with integration and understanding of event streams in Element Management Systems, practical installation and engineering experience; Working directly with Network monitoring tools, managing and participating in the holistic design and creation of System Management Policies. -- Tanya D E R E X T E C H N O L O G I E S I N C. 111 S.
